FAQ

Common questions regarding live football streaming

Are these live-streams legal?

Absolutely, yes! Online bookmakers such as Bet365 have purchased the rights via streaming platforms (most notably, 'Perform Group') to show selected matches in selected territories. The streams are fully legal and as long as you are 18 or over and in a location that allows for visiting gambling websites (such as the UK/Ireland) - you can view sports events live!

The problem with trying "free dodgy stream websites" such as those requiring P2P software, plugins or webstreams is the insane amount of popups, malware and nuisances. We've all seen the constant "X's" floating over live-streams that barely function or the fact every time you click anywhere in the window a new tab/window opens in your browser for a bizarre inelgible looking domain that forwards repeatedly to an advertising network. Often, somewhere in the process, someone has gone rogue, and fake flash-players, java installations etc are introduced that if an unsuspecting user believes is their access to the stream, will install and cause havoc on their PC. If your heading into this territory, please, at least use - AVAST Antivirus.

Can I watch 'this match' live where I am?

In the UK, Ireland, most European countries and across the world, these legal and live bookmaker provided streams ARE available for users to view - HOWEVER: Events in their schedule will be blocked dependant on your location. This varies from location to location (see our stream disclaimer) - however, a quick and handy note to remember is that "If the event your trying to watch is taking place in your country, it's likely blocked". Ie: No La Liga can be viewed in Spain, Championship in England, SPFL in Scotland etc - this is because the rights have been purchased exclusively by beIN, BT, Sky etc. Again, there is further help and advice - here.

Do the live-streams work on my smart device?

They didn't use to, but as time is going on, more and more devices are working on smart/gadget devices! Mobiles & Tablets for the most part will have no issue in streaming footy matches, races, etc, while pushing it out a bit further and trying to view on a PS4, Xbox etc, may get varied results, again, it's best to check with the providers themselves. iPads, iPhones, HTC, Android devices, and of course - PC/Laptops are all available to use to stream games as long as you have a decent internet (would suggest 4g and up) and a browser such as Firefox/Chrome or Safari for Apple devices.

Are the streams free?

No. While no payment or ongoing subscription is required, you must have a funded account with the bookmaker (a betting balance) or have placed a bet in the last 24 hours to be able to access the streams. This may vary slightly over bookmakers/providers. T&C, restrictions and geographic blocks still apply.
